The house is located on an extended family compound in the village of Ste Anne Des Lacs, in the foothills of the Laurentian mountains. The lake is deep and cool and great for swimming May through September. No motorized boats are allowed on the lake so it is particularly peaceful.

Getting there from Montreal takes 50-60 minutes in times where there is no traffic.
